BABAT POST – Baeksang Arts Awards adalah ajang tahunan di Korea yang memberikan penghargaan kepada para aktor, sineas, drama/film dan entertainer yang dianggap terbaik sepanjang tahun.
Tahun ini Baeksang Arts Awards telah mencapai usia 52 tahun dan nominasi untuk calon pemenang baik untuk kategori drama dan televisi juga sudah diumumkan.
Dilihat dari nominator, nyaris tak ada kejutan. Drama dan film hits sepanjang pertengahan tahun lalu sampai awal 2016 banyak yang masuk nominasi. Untuk kategori drama Reply 1988 dan Descendants of the Sun bersaing ketat.
Dilansir KpopHerald, persaingan ketat terjadi di kategori Best Male Actor in TV. Song Joong Ki dan Yoo Ah In bersaing untuk menjadi yang terbaik di kategori prestis tersebut.
Yoo Ah In dinominasikan karena akting menawannya dalam drama 60 episode, Six Flying Dragons. Sementara Song Joong Ki masuk nominasi tentu saja karena perannya sebagai kapten Yoo Si Jin di Descendants of the Sun.
Sekadar catatan, Song Joong Ki dan Yoo Ah In pernah bekerja sama di drama saeguk, Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Akting mereka sebagai sahabat kala itu mengantarkan keduanya menyabet penghargaan Best Couple Award di KBS Drama Awards 2010.
Sementara itu, Baeksang Arts Awards 2016 akan digelar pada 3 Juni 2016 pukul 20.30 waktu setempat. Dan kita masih bisa berpartisipasi untuk Voting sampai 31 Mei 2016.
Ajang tahunan ini dapat disaksikan di stasiun TV JTBC serta web streaming iQiyi.
